What were they thinking?

I just bought a new sofa--some simple, neutral number that I found on sale--and these are the pillows that came with it. Seriously, why do they even produce upholstery that looks like this? And what do I do with them? They are ugly as all get out so I don't want to use them, but they are new pillows, so I don't want to get rid of them! Oh, the dilemma!
