Well, it's Mardi Gras time in south Louisiana! I am over the parades and stuff, but I love the holiday!! And this year, it's even longer than usual. Our school schedules our Spring Break Holiday to coincide with Mardi Gras, so we're off for a week!! Yee-hah!

Hey Beth, just enjoying your blog...I LOVE this picture. Do you have other mardi gras pix you can share with the world? We just don't get the same kind of Mardis Gras hype around here in northern California. Given that you are pretty much right at the heart of the festival, it must be fun to witness all the costumes, colors and hoop-d-doo up close and personal! Hi Melissa! I don't have any pics from this year. I didn't get to participate in too much b/c I had the wonderful joy of moving into my new appt over the last two days--you have to take advantage of ppl willing to help WHENEVER they offer!
